Pick what you're trying to do. Every guide is short, in order, and shows the real screen.
FLUX reads heart rate from Apple Watch, Garmin, Polar, COROS, Whoop and any Bluetooth chest strap. Each one has its own guide inside the app, because each one connects differently.
Nothing to connect? Skip it. FLUX will track your cadence from your phone instead and match music to your stride.

1 · Broadcast Heart Rate — the watch only transmits after you turn it on. Hold the top button (Venu and other touch models) or hold LIGHT (Forerunner / Fēnix) to open the controls menu → tap Broadcast Heart Rate. The screen turns red — you're live. Then tap Scan in FLUX.

2 · Recording the run on the Garmin too? Starting an activity stops the regular broadcast. Pick Run, then on the ready screen swipe up (or press UP / MENU on button models) → Run Settings → turn on Broadcast Heart Rate. One time — it sticks for every run.

One button, one sheet, and you're out the door. Automatic is the default and needs no setup — the music simply follows whatever sync source you have.
Doing an easy recovery run and don't want a sprint track showing up? Zone Only pins the music to the training zones you pick, and nothing else gets played.
Your Sync Score still runs in Zone Only. It measures how well each track matched you — not whether you followed a plan.

Intervals, tempo blocks, warm-up and cooldown — build the session yourself and the music follows the structure instead of your heart rate.
FLUX Lab takes a goal and turns it into a full structured session — segments, durations and BPM targets — and drops it straight into the builder so you can edit anything before you run.

Some tracks take forty seconds to get going. On a sprint interval you don't have forty seconds. Drop Sync marks the exact moment a track kicks in — and FLUX starts it there.
A pin icon on a library row means a drop point is already set.

The first time you connect your music, FLUX tags every track with a BPM and an Energy Score. That's the data the whole sync engine runs on — and it only happens once.
Added new music? Tap the refresh icon at the top of the Library and FLUX picks up the new tracks.
